Tatiana is a 37" full Argentine mini who just gave us a little girl that we named Argentine Early Bird because she arrived about 4am.   Since one of our main breeding goals is Argentine miniatures, we are extremely happy with this little additon.

 

TFF Roberta Lee

Little Miss Roberta, born 4/17/06, had a really tough start in this world. She was in the wrong position in the birth canal and our vet, Dr. Robert Lee literally sweat bullets getting her turned around. To thank him for saving both the cria and her mom, we named her after him. Just look at Miss Roberta now. We are very thankful for her and her spunky survival attitude. The very lovely daughter of Liana and Steal Your Heart...this little part Argentine has stolen our hearts!  Now almost two years old with a lovely disposition and quite the looker.   Roberta will be bred this spring.

UPDATE...Roberta competed at the Virginia Classic 2008.  She brought home 5th in Walking Fleece and 4th in her halter category.

 

Argentine Cinnamon Twist

Born in May '05 to Argentine Tinkerbelle, sired by Argentine Kobra, Cinnamon is an irresistable little beauty. We predict gorgeous offspring from this girl. Cinnamon has been bred to Argentine Norino for a Spring 2008 arrival.  This should be nothing short of spectacular!

And spectacular she is....Argentine Llamallynda arrived 4/0/08 at #15lbs.  She is a true beauty and has a very loving personality.

Sweet Cassidy is a real stroke of luck for us.  Not only is she beautiful and good natured... She's Appy... She's Mini... She's Half Argentine... And she's a proven Showring winner!   Cassidy was named Grand Champion Female Miniature at the 2006 Virginia Classic. She has been bred to Argentine Toro for a Spring '07 three quarter Argentine cria.   We are still waiting for a "very round" Cassidy to produce this little wonder.  Let you know as soon at it (she) arrives.  Ah... come on, I can hope can't I???

Argentine Toro X Sweet Cassidy

This is one very special little gal.  She got her name because she arrived exactly 30 days after her due date.  Her mom had been very sick during her pregnancy and we thought she had slipped.  We just wanted Cassidy to get healthy again.   But Sweet Cassidy simply put her lovely little girl on hold until she was well, then a bit late, we were truly blessed with a tiny 13 lb, 3/4 Argentine clone of Cassidy.  She not only looks like her mommy, she has her exquisitely sweet disposition.  Expect great things from this tiny gal.  BTW...Check out the awesome ears on this little wonder!

To the left, 2 mos.  Below left,one week, and below right...just a few minutes old,, still trying to figure out the "leg thing"!

Because she is so special, she appears both on our Argentine page and our Minillama Youngsters page, since she is both....such a lot of llama in a very small package.

 

Llanaro's Liana
Liana (born 6/15/03) is quite interesting.  She is the product (and a beautiful product I must say) of Embryonic Transfer.  Above is a picture of Liana with her surrogate mother, Stephanie.  The picture in the right is of Gwendolyn, Liana's genetic mother.  Liana is big and beautiful, and as a bonus, she has silky fiber and the sweetest disposition you would ever have the pleasure of encountering.  She has excellent genetics being one quarter Argentine and three quarters Chilean with Argentine Kobra, RE Gertrudis and Llanero in her bloodline.  She has taken it upon herself to be the guardian of all the younger girls.Liana gave us the most wonderful TFF Roberta Lee.  She is a wonderful mother who in 2008 gave us another beautiful gir, TFF Fortulla.  Liana has been rebred to Argentine Toro for a spring 2009 cria.  Liana is for sale, please see our sales page for details.
TFF Fortulla, Liana's 2008 cria is an irrepressible little ambassador of goodwill.  She is always on the lookout for someone who needs a companion, or a playmate...or even just some one to talk to.  Very sweet, very beautiful, we are very lucky to have her.

Sarmiento's Mariposa
It was love at first sight....Mariposa is strong, beautiful, has gorgeous fiber and a big ol' wide streak of impishness.  Born in April '03, sired by Argentine Sarmiento out of Sweet Butterfly Kisses. Miss Mari gives the sweetest kisses ever.  Mari has been bred to Argentine Norino and confirmed pregnant for for a three quarter Argentine cria scheduled to arrive Spring 2008.

At long last, Mari has her own baby to lavish kisses on.

This Omar gal is a sweetheart.  We were planning to breed her last fall and life just got away from us.  She has now been bred to Argentine Toro for a spring 2008 three quarter Argentine cria.

Update....High 5 certainly earned her name when she gave us a gorgeous silky little 3/4 Argentine gal.  We named her TFF Glorious and are calling her Glory.  You will understand why when you see her!  High Five is for sale, please see our sales page for details.

Teresa is another ET girl purchased at the Taylor's auction. She has fabulous fiber and as you can see a very sweet face. Sired by Arg Pecos out of Arg Trupa. She has been bred to Argentine Toro for a full Argentine Spring 2009 cria.

Argentine Santiago
Born September 03,Argentine Santiago is full Argentine sired by Argentine Sarmiento out of Argentine Naranja.  This guy is wooly to the max and sweet tempered to boot, he has now come of age and has several ladies who have been blessed with his cria.  We are very much looking forward to seeing what he adds to our breeding program.

We're lucky enough to co-own Norino with Carother's Country Farm. Norino is currently back on our farm. We welcome his good looks, good nature, and fabulous genetics.  He gave us Argentine LlamaLlynda, TFF Dolce, TFF Harlequin Masque and TFF Fortulla this spring.  We are looking forward to his 2009 editions.

What can I say...He's a Kobra guy! Look at that fiber...Look at that bone and a perfect gentleman to boot. His first offspring have arrived and are beautiful.
  Toro competed at the 2006 Virginia Classic where he took First Place in Mature Argentine Males and Third in Top Five Males. 

Toro is registered with the AMLA as a Foundation Male and so far, most of his cria have been small.  Our own SweetTime is his little gal and I must stress the "little".  She is now 13 months old and is 29 inches of cute.  We also now have Zorro and Glory who are both minis.  This is the guy for gorgeous minis!
